Our first app is a tile puzzle. It’s a very simple promo app for the 56th Australian National Square Dance Convention being held in Adelaide, South Australia in April 2015, and stars Saxman, the Convention’s mascot.

Select the level of difficulty by touching the up or down arrows. You can select a 3x3, 3x4, 4x3, 4x4, 4x5, 5x4 or 5x5 grid of tiles.
Touch the Play button to start playing the game. This scrambles the tiles.
The object of the game is to get all the tiles back into their original (unscrambled) positions. Tap a tile that is horizontally or vertically adjacent to the empty square to move it into that square. Continue until you complete the puzzle.
You’ll get confirmation when you’ve solved it, and you’ll see how many tiles you moved. The confirmation message is different for each level of difficulty. Can you solve all 7 levels and see all 7 messages? You’ll have to be really good to solve the 5x5 puzzle!
